The alumni association of the Will To Live Center is a voluntary social group of students who have studied and lived in the center during the last 15 years. Its mission is to connect alumni of the center from various parts of the nation and contribute to developing the Will To Live Center house.
On September 20th 2015, at Muong Thanh Hotel, Linh Dam, Ha Noi, the launch ceremony of the Alumni Group of Will To Live Center took place.
Members of the group were highly honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, along with governmental guests, press agencies, donors, and parents of students, teachers, and volunteers.
After over 14 years of development, Will To Live Center has become a major force in promoting and supporting people with disabilities to integrate into society by teaching IT, English, Photoshop, Online Marketing, and soft skills. More than 700 students have been educated and have found suitable jobs with the help of Will to Live Center. Alumni now consider themselves more confident and able to live independent lives within their community.
The group’s vision is to connect and tighten the relationships between students of the center from various parts of Vietnam. They can participate in activities at the center and help each other find jobs. Furthermore, it allows them to become friends and discuss laws, policies and health care services for people with disabilities.
At the launch ceremony, besides recalling memorable moments at the center, alumni also shared their experiences, faith and energy in jobs and life for the next generations of alumni.
